    Default Hyphenation Styles

Does anyone know of a way to customise the hyphenation settings in
InDesign? eg. Can I turn on Hyphenation, but let InD know that I don't
want it to hyphenate words with capital letters?

I know some people dislike hyphenation, but this client wants it.

    Any help would be appreciated!

From the Indesign Help file under Hyphenation -> Automatic:
To turn automatic hyphenation on or off for a paragraph, in the Paragraph
palette or Control palette, select or deselect the Hyphenate option. (You
can also include this option in a paragraph style.)
When you set automatic hyphenation options, you can determine the
relationship between better spacing and fewer hyphens. You can also prevent
capitalized words and the last word in a paragraph from being hyphenated.

    Thanks, Peggy!

A case of 'check the help files before posting' perhaps?
