I cannot handle Tables! - Macromedia Dreamweaver

I get very surprized when I set everything accurately and corrently in Dremweaver and I get a bad result in the browser! How is this possible to set up a table with certain dimensions and not get it as you want it? Is there a fix or somethong like that, or even a tip that I should follow? Thank you. Lazaro...

For example, I have a table and want its rows to have a specific height, for example 10 pixels. In my browser, I see this distance over 35 - 40 pixels. Why does this happen?

make surte there isn't anthing in any of the TableData elements (<td>)..no non=breaking spaces (&nbsp;)..nothing...

'Height' is not a valid TableRow property...only a TableData element can use it.

    Check those 1st

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with HTML code. Is there a way to understand is this <td> contains something or is empty?

Look in the code, is there something between the <td> and </td> tags? if so,
then it's not empty. If it has &nbsp; in it, there is a non-breaking space in
it, which there should be if there is no other content. Do as Murray said and
read the Table tutorials at the 5th link in my signature.

Sorry, but this page has greek text. Hope your browser supports such languages. Also, in this particlar table (it is the table in the middle), the fonts are not supplied smoothly, and some letters are bold, some others they are not. What is happening? Thank you again in advance for your help.

I have looked at it and it looks OK in IE6. Where are the problems and what browser are you using? You mentioned teh 'middle' table, but there are about 6 of them on the page...
