I cant fill line drawing eps files.

Default I cant fill line drawing eps files.

I am using Illustrator 10 to open cartoon outline EPS files of several complex 3d models exported from Wings3D. The line art is beautiful but all I get are the Paths... no Fill.

Is there any way of converting unfilled lines to filled lines? or do I have to re-trace the line art by hand?

    Clark,

I'm not familiar with Wings3D, but is it a raster program, or if vector do all the lines connect in a loop? You can't fill a straight or fill between multiples of straight lines, nor can you fill a raster image within Illustrator. You can make a copy of a raster object in vector and if it's looped (closed path) you can then fill that and make it look like you are filling the raster object.
