I can't get a sound to play
Hello, this is my first post here, I have a problem,
My website on Reptiles & Amphibians (http://www.reptilia-amphibia.net) is
about to get a whole lot better because I want to add amphibian voices onto the
frog pages.
To do so I want to make a small gif with a music icon or something and then
have a rollover image in a different colour, as well when the mouse is over the
gif the sound starts, and it stops if you go off it. like on this page
(http://www.karch.ch/karch/f/amp/ha/hafs2.html)
BUT it doesn't seem to be working, do I need to save the sound in a certain
format? I've tried Quicktime, mp3 and m4a.
Please HELP!!!

Re: I can't get a sound to play
HI! I would really recommend using Flash for images with sound. Although you
could make it work, it will not be cross platform and will not play on
everyone's browser/machine. If you must then try doing a Google for "Java
script roll over sound" and you will certainly find a script to do just
that.
But Like a mentioned you should look into Flash in your spare time if you
plan to do a lot of things like this.
Good luck. :)
