I can't import *.eps or *.pdf Files
When I import an *.eps file, Only an blank envylope appears on the screen.
When I import a *.pdf or *.ai file nothing happens
Also my import command does not have any type file pop down menu.

EPS files are Encapslated PostScript files. The image has a
screen preview for display on your monitor. The screen preview is
either for Mac (pict) or PC (tiff). You probably got the eps from
someone who used a different OS than yours. Illustrator can save
the EPS file with either screen preview. It's an option.
Although all you can see on your monitor is a reference
rectangle, you can print the file on any PostScript printer and
it will look fine.
