    Default I.E lines in webdesign

I've been working with a web-design and finally have one that I feel
comfortable with. Whenever I add in a mouse-over button effect in Dreamweaver,
lines appear in the layout within Internet Exporer. The lines are horizontal
and are exactly one pixel in height and extend across the entire page. They
appear only when I add in a mouse-over button. Is there any fix to this?

Chek the layers panel where you can define the hidden or visible features
    of the layers.

I'm not sure of what you mean. I have not implemented any layers into my web-design, therefore the layers panel is empty.
