I give up! How [i]DID[/i] I do this???
So...
a few nights ago, after some beer, there I was - playing with a logo for a friends site. And I got [url]http://homepage.ntlworld.com/johnandmoira/Pyroteknix/kellylogo.png[/url]
"Cool effect!", I thought, then staggered off to bed. Problem is... now I can't reproduce it!!! I can see there's a vector mask used... and one of Richie's cool gold effects too. Plus a standard FW "Waves" fill for the background splodge. Just can't figure out how I managed to apply the gold effect to the waves fill!
Help! Anyone??? I'm sure it's staring me in the face... but after a couple of hours now, I'm beat!

Ack! Forget it!
I just spent two hours clicking "Paste as Mask" instead of "Group as Mask"!!! I think I work better WITH alchohol!!

Nice of you to say so, but all the hard work was done by you! You've unleashed a bit of a beast here, I'm afraid! I've just spent a couple of very enjoyable hours playing with your "gold buttons" styles - mask-grouping a large gold button with a variety of filled rectangles (using the ripple, wave, starburst etc fills). The results are in many cases, quite extraordinary - and quite unpredictable! Gotta thank you again - for all YOUR hard work!
