I have a hard time accesssing doent Nib file from Main Nib. - Mac Programming

I've looked at the SimpleMultiWindow sample. I look at it and seems like you just define the function in the Main Nib file, then you called the [NSApp delegate]. I tried the same thing but I can't get it to access anything in the doent file. Basically what I am trying to do is having the fuction process in the main file, then new data will be added to the table in the doent file depending on which doent is active. I'm kinda lost here. Anyway help would be great. Thanks....

What you are calling the "doent file" is a nib. The nib was opened
with an owner. What you need is a reference to that owner. This is
usually either an NSDoent instance or an NSWindowController instance.
