I just bought A Minolta Scan Dual 3!

I am waiting for it to be shipped. I will post some pictures as soon as I
get working with it. Any thing I should absolutly do when I get it? Such as
any additional software?

Read the manual (pdf on CDROM)!!!

Minolta software is excellent. Main reason for me to buy a Minolta scanner.
I've got the Elite II, but the Dual 3 software will not differ to much I
suppose.

Most of colour and level correction can be done before the actual scan. For
more specialised Image processing there is Adobe's Photoshop (at update 7
now) of course.

Have lot's of fun and exellent scans with it and don't worry to much!!!

Suggest you visit [url]www.hamrick.com[/url] and d/l Vuescan. I have the Scan
Dual 2 and it works better with Vuescan.
