I like this add
I like the United.com add of www.latimes.com.
It is the most facinating add I have ever seen.
I have never seen flash be selectable out side of a box-like enclosure. This
swf gor this add is not in a box like enclosure.
Can someone please consult me on making something like this.
Any exapmles or links would be greatly appreciated.

Re: I like this ad
I refreshed my browser probably 20 times and it didn't come up. It's quite
possible that the campaign is over by now but it may have also just not come
up. They set those ads to rotate, depending on the deal they have with latimes.
I don't know what you were looking at but by your description, you are talking
about a rich media expandable banner. Take a look at the sites below. It's not
entirely necessary to use one of these vendors but it's highly unlikely that a
big site like latimes will allow a rich media ad to post without it coming from
an approved vendor. The vendors below have all proven that they will follow set
standards with the ads they deliver.
If you like any of them, send them an email and, in some cases, they will have
someone call you and walk you through the process of setting the ad up using
their components or web portals. Some also have excellent tutorials and
documentation. Keep in mind it's not cheap to run a rich media ad but the
results could be worth it.
