I need help.........
I have created a page using a table. The table and cells are sized as a
percentage to keep the placing of objects in relation when viewed at various
screen sizes.
I have a cell that will contain text. The length of the text passage is longer
than the cell and I want to create a scroll bar so viewers can scroll down
within that cell only.
Now, I can create this by using a layer but I can't get the layer fixed, and
resized properly when viewed at a larger screen size.
I could also do this if I could insert a single frame into that table cell,
but I cannot achieve this (is that actually possible?)
I'm using Dreamweaver 4

Re: I need help.........
Put your text into something like this -
<div style="overflow:auto;">Your text goes here</div>
which is placed into the table cell.

Re: I need help.........
Hi Murray *TMM*
Thanks for that info, it worked a treat.
Can I also ask, is there anyway to prevent a horizontal scroll bar appearing?
My layer width automatically set itself to the width of the text. If I pull the
right margin of the text in, the layer width adjusts itself in as well.
Any suggestions?

Re: I need help.........
Add the CSS styles for width to the div's inline styling. You may also need
to style the <p> tags within the div to be a specific width.
