I need Help Quick! - - PLEASE

Recently I used the CF7 updater and the report builder 'add-on'
In putting in place the updater I could no longer access my admin pages to
update dsns etc.
(I have an earlier post wiht the exact error

So since no one was able to give me any advice over the last 12 hours (Yes - I
am in a great hurry to get moving on two client projects that I can't do w/o
access to the dsns) - I unistalled the server.

I am running on WinXP SP2.

Well installing the server from the actual server disk (not the demo version
tha comes with Studio MX) gets me the following error..

So I attempted to unistall again - and then install the server from the Studio
8 CD - but without the server serial number - and got exactly the same error.
Between every uninstall and install - I did Hard Boot the computer.

So now I can't evern run CF pages on my machine that use a datasource. The CF
server is running in some way as I can run a simple cfm page that has no
datasourse info. It can simple CF commands - Cfset and cfoutput.

PLEASE HELP! ASAP!

After Numerous attempts at installing both CF MX and CFMX 7 finally a 7 install worked. I don't know what the problems were - I'm just happy to be able to wok on paying clients again.
