i need some help please.

hi everyone. i am in need of some help with the shockwave player. when i try to
play certain games on a website, i get an error message: The shockwave movie
has errors that have caused playback problems. Please contact the author of
this content regarding this problem.Shockwave is unable to continue.i use
firefox 3. i've tried several browsers that give me pretty much the same
outcome. i've also uninstalled, downloaded and reinstalled several times with
no luck. i'm not sure if i can get updates, because when i reinstalled, i
assumed that the shockwave player 11 was up to date. quite a few people on the
forums on the website i play (neopets), are having similar issues. i'm at a
complete loss and feel like an idiot because i don't know what else to do. can
someone please help me? i will check back later to see if anyone has posted so
i can reply back. thanks in advance. :confused;

Like the error message says: you really need to contact the author.
There is nothing wrong with the Shockwave Player, but there are too many
errors in the content and it is giving up trying to run the movie and
reporting the error to you so that someone knows to fix the content.

how do i contact the author? in other words, how can i find out who the author is? i guess that's what throwing me off.

There must be contact details there somewhere.
