I need to make a customizable area on .pdfflyer for recipients to adjust as needed

I've created .pdf files for several years, but only as static pages for review or printing as is, so I don't know how to make a portion of a page adjustable ...

I've created a .pdf page [from QX .ps, then Distiller] as usual, using Pro 6.02. But I need a small portion of the page to include an area where the recipient can add their own name, phone, etc. I will have 'placeholder' text on my original .pdf to indicate where the recipient has changeable text to adjust to their own contact info . The recipient will likely only have Acrobat Reader -- and should be able to change/adjust ONLY the area with my 'placeholder' text.

[it's a travel flyer that's supposed to be customizable by individual travel agents so they can add their own agency name, phone and address and then print the .pdf for their own use.]

I've seen a sample of a flyer that does this, but I don't have any idea how to make it happen on my flyers. I've tried viewing anyting relating to 'interactivity' on HELP pages, but that's just about linking, etc. So I'm not sure where to find the answer I need for this small problem.

If the recipient only has Reader, this isn't going to work for you

Thanks, but I figured it out after all. After a whole bunch of false starts, it turned out to be a fairly 'simple' matter of making a form field text box for each line of input and using 'default' text to tell the agents to select the text and replace with their contact info.
