Default I need to shear corners of a photo (graphic) individually

I need to move corners of a photo and not just move the stroke but skew the photo also. I'm trying to make a photo look like it is standing up with a blended drop shadow. When I select a corner with the direct select tool it only moves the window, not the photo inside also. Thanks.

Use the Skew setting in the Transform palette. And make sure that Transform Content is selected in the flyout of the Transform palette, if you want the content to skew along with the Frame.

Thanks but I don't think that's what I need. That will move the horiz of vert but not corners individually.

I have a cropped photo placed inside a rectangle. I need to move each corner separately and have the photo skew along with the box it is placed in thus throwing the photo out of proportion for each corner.

    Roger ,

I am not at a computer where I can test this now, but here is an idea:
With the direct selection tool try to select the corners of the box and of the photo by shift clicking. I don't know if that works, but if it does, it would allow you to move the two corners together.

Good suggestion. I can't get both selected at the same time though. When holding down the shift after selecting the bounding box you lose the bounding box once you click on the photo.

Sounds to me like a job for PhotoShop and the "distort" or "perspective" edits.

Photoshop will get the job done I was just trying to find a logical way in ID. Seems like it should do it to me but I'm ready to throw in the towel. I have learned some new things today I've never tried though.
