Super fast turnaround on the repair on the display on my new 700 MHz
iBook. It took about three days from the time I called Apple until my
box arrived (they told me it would be there the next day) and Airborne
wasn't picking up in my area (rural eastern Kentucky) until Tuesday,
July 1.

The iBook left that day and arrived back in my hands on Thursday, July
3.

The repair appears to have been a full logic board replacement -- I
would have to check the part number on the repair slip to confirm this
-- but I bought AppleCare to hold me over for three full years.

I got the iBook back just in time, too -- that very same day I broke
the dongle to my PCMCIA FireWire card on my old Lombard, which I was
using again until the iBook got back.
