iChatAV - can it do one way video? - Mac Applications & Software

My friends don't have a firewire camera but I do. Is there anyway to do "one way video" iChatAV where I can hear them, but they can both hear and see me? I can't seem to make it work. -- Rocky Road - in Oz...

So what is the "Invite to one-way video chat" item for ? (in the Buddies
    Menu).

BTW, having the Full Screen option put in the Audio menu reminds me of a
certain Shut Down command found in the Start menu. I said nothing.

They are clearly not making "geniuses" like they used to. :-)

I tested that option last night with a friend. Worked fine - he initiated,
I saw & heard him, he heard me. My camera was disconnected (it *has* to be
or the "one way video chat" menu pick is disabled).

    Hadn't noticed _that_ feature... :-)

I've always used the zoom window widgets (green button and/or arrow-zoom
    button).

    Ah good. Cool.

I should check the menus more often.

Tell me about it. At the Apple store I went to, they were insisting to
customers that the iSight would only work with iChat AV. Nothing else.
I had to download Yahoo Messenger to prove them wrong.

    Talk about killing a sale.
