ICS/ICF won't start

In trying to start ICF on a machine connected directly to
the internet, and error occurs. One of the dependent
ICS/IFS services filed to start...
Can anyone say which services those are, so that I can
troubleshoot this?
I don't require sharing, just the firewall.

Go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services. Find Internet
Connection Firewall (ICF)/ ... and double click ... Go to Dependencies Tab
and check out what Dependencies are...

- Remote Access Connection Manger,
- Network Location Awareness
- Network Connections
- Application Layer Gateway Service
