Re: IDCS 3.0.1 August Update
A long while. Probably after it is irrelevant. Check the oldest message in the archive folder for an idea of how long things are accessible. Your bookmark will survive when the topic moves to the archive many moons from now.

Re: IDCS 3.0.1 August Update
"What 3.0.2?"
The one that I expect will eventually follow 3.0.1. If you were around for
InDesign 2.0 you would know it was patched to 2.0.1 then 2.0.2, but you
couldn't install 2.0.2 properly (if at all - I can't remember) unless 2.0.1
had already been installed - and they had to be installed in sequence.
To explain the point again, I'm suggesting that advice not to install this
patch might get in the way of installing the next patch, assuming there is
one.
Dave - while you can, indeed, find the version number in the way you
suggest, it just seems a somewhat clumsy alternative to simply putting the
correct version number on the splash screen. Even to call it 3.0.1A would
have made more sense than this duplication of update numbers.

Re: IDCS 3.0.1 August Update
I agree, plain and simple, the idea of just adding <August Update> to the download link instead of a version number change is retarded.
