IDCS images loose thier crop when updated in photoshop
I place an image in Indesgn CS at it's full size then select it with the direct selection tool to adjust it's size in the graphic frame. Then I edit in photoshop to resize the image so that it is at 100% in Indesign instead of say 20% and the image would maintain it's size and position. The size would change from 20% to 100%. After purchasing my New G5 dual core 2 ghz single processor (OSX 10.4.7) and the new install of InDesign CS doesn't upate the image size. So the image becomes 20% of the downsized image. And, so I have to "fit content to frame" or "re-place" the image which looses my positioning in graphic frame. Before on my now retired G4 (OSX 10.3.9) it would maintain my graphics position and resize the image. And, on my Intel-Mac laptop (OSX 10.4.7) it works normally as on the G4. All of my computers have 2 gig of ram.

Re: IDCS images loose thier crop when updated in photoshop
The issue is not which operating system you're using but which build of InDesign.
Hold down the Command key and choose About InDesign. What build number is in parentheses at the end of the revision/update number?
The behavior you're describing sounds like pre-build 838 if you're using CS or 4.0.3 if you're using CS2.
Update to the latest version to get the behavior you liked.
