    Default IE 6 Browser Window Problems

    I have designed a site using dreamweaver mx on OSX.

    As per client specs, they requested that certain links open a new browser
    window and to full screen.

    After testing the sites on both OSX and Windows XP at work and the site worked
    perfectly, I was then informed that the client was unable to view the links on
    their work PC's.

    After viewing the website on the client's PC running Windows XP and IE 6.

    Only one PC out of 4 was able to view the website correctly at the client's
    office, all were running the same XP version, but the PC that viewed correctly
    was using a earlier version of IE 6.

    The other PC's running a later version of IE 6, kept reporting a error with
    the html code, below:

    <area shape="rect" coords="191,375,238,386"
    href="javascriptpenFullWindow('accessbelts.html',' ','scrollbars=yes,width=auto,h
    eight=auto')">

    Would love to know how to resolve this issue with IE 6 and its countless
    versions. I downloaded Firefox for PC on the client's PC, but still kept
    reporting issues with this code.

    Is there anyway to resolve this issue without losing the new browser, full
    screen mode functions.

    Any help would be great!

    You must educate them that a) this annoys visitors, b) especially Mac users,
    who NEVER use maximized windows, c) it's extra work for a function that is
    blocked by modern browsers, and d) it's the mark of an amateur.

    This is wrong - it should be -

    <area shape="rect" coords="191,375,238,386"
    href="javascript:openFullWindow('accessbelts.html' ,'','scrollbars=yes,width=auto,height=auto')">
