IE - Conflict between Acrobat 5 and Acrobat Reader 6
I have Acrobat 5.0.5 installed and Acrobat 6 Reader. Regardless which is installed first, pdf files open in the IE web browser always open with Acrobat 5. I know the problem is in the IE file associations, however I cannot find where to change the association to point at my Acrobat 6 Reader installation.
Double-clicking on a file open Acrobat 6 Reader, it is only in the web browser where Acrobat 5 pops up. (The file associations under My Computer -> Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types all correctly point to version 6)
Appreciate the help.

Re: IE - Conflict between Acrobat 5 and Acrobat Reader 6
Whenever you have Reader and Acrobat on the same computer, IE will ALWAYS use Acrobat, regardless of version numbers.
There is a registry hack to get around this, however, use search.
