IE Display Issues - Macromedia Dynamic HTML

I purchased a template and made some changes (new menu and added a logo and pic). When I view the page in Firefox it appears fine but in IE the photo is missing and the top of the page starts in the middle of the screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here is the http://www.fitnessmotivator.com in question. Thanks....

    Numerous problems, starting with content after the closing
    </body> tag
    </object></layer></span></div></table></body></html><!-- adsok -->
    <script language='javascript'
    src='https://a12.alphagodaddy.com/hosting_ads/gd01.js'></script>

    Your background image problem has to do with using a proprietary tag
    <td background="images/fm_mask_group_white.jpg" style="width:766px;
    height:339px; background: url("images/flash_bg.jpg") no-repeat left top ">

    Should be: <td background-image:url(images/fm_mask_group_white.jpg);
