iframes or regular frames? Framesets or iframe?
Hi,
I built out my site like this: I've got one html page called 'main' with an
iframe and the main naviagation. all of my other pages load into this iframe.
It works fine for the most part, until I need to do some auto height scaling of
the iframe, which isn't possible. I can probably live without the auto scale,
but I was wondering, what do you think? In general, is it better to use
regular old framesets for what I'm trying to do? I wasn't excited about
framesets because it adds another two html files to the mix which adds another
6 Kb. What do you think?
Thanks in advance
Stan

Frames and framesets
Hi, I'm trying to design the layout of my pages. Is it possible to display an asp page, as one of the frames in a frameset? Thanks, Sarb. -
Frames Vs. iFrame
IFrame is only supported by internet explorer. It's great as long as no other browsers need access to your application. Sincerely, -- S.... -

Re: iframes or regular frames? Framesets or iframe?
Hi Garek007...
Well, im not much of a framset fan myself. I really do prefer iframe, mostly
when i want to create a page with a really cool design.
It is really easy to use iframe when tou combine it with CSS. Now, your
problem with iframe is the scaling, i generally work this out by allowing
vertical scroling.
