Re: Iimporting html with linked images
Hi,
The html property of text cast members doesn't support image tags. If you
wish to display a html page 'as is' with all the images, you can try
searching for a third-party Xtra that can do this for you or use the web
browser activeX control (you'll need IE browser that supports ActiveX).

Re: Iimporting html with linked images
Director (MX or any) has native support to import HTML but only includes very basic abilities, such as text and tables ... no images etc can be used.
There are a couple of Xtras you can use, or you can try to use the MS activeX object for MSIE using the built in ActiveX abilities but it takes a bit more effort to figure out.
Look at Macromedia's Xtra section for Director.
The one I use most often is WebXtra, [url]http://xtras.tabuleiro.com/products/web/index.tdb[/url]
but I'm pretty sure it only works in PC.
