    Default IIS Posts/Sec. question

We have an 8-way Compaq DL760 running Win2k DC with
connections to IBM Mainframe OS/390 DB/2 via OLE/Db.. and
are having some performance issues.. one curiosity we
noticed is that using several monitoring tools.. no matter
how many current connections we have from 100-300 the # of
Posts/Sec pretty much hovers at 10.0.. Our thinking is
that this number should fluctuate based on usages.. Any
    ideas?

Is there a Host Integration Server in between the IIS server and the
    mainframe?

This is my only thought. If the answer is no, I'm out of the thread. ;]

Have you had a look at what threads are being used? It could also be that
the connection to the mainframe is just a bottleneck.
