Illustartor is slowing down,WHY?
As I ad more filters to my project I am noticing that Illustrator 10 is slowing down. Why? I tried lowering the memory on Illustator 10 by doing "Command I". Also, it seems like it slows down more and more after each time I save. >Undead Troll

Re: Illustartor is slowing down,WHY?
You lowered the memory?? You need to increase the memory if you want to improve performance.
Don't know that it will fix this specific problem. but the more memory the application has available, the easier it will work. If you're working below the memory limits it will need to write all your data to your hard drive in order to process all your commands, which will take lots of extra time. It needs to be able to have enough RAM that it can process the commands without writing information back and forth.
