    Default Illustrator 10

I am a novice at this program. With that said, I have a pamphlet (front and back) that I've created. We just bought a printer that supports printing front and back on a page. How do I get the 2 files (front & back of pamphlet) into 1 document, so I can print both sides at once? Thank you for any help.

    Buddy,

Illustrator will not do multiple pages, so unless you have full Acrobat (where you can place two files into one PDF with two pages) or InDesign/PageMaker, etc. you can't make two pages (as such). You can, of course make one page one one layer, then page two on another layer and save those into one Illustrator file. Or you can create a custom sized layout and then Tile print the two pages after designing them properly to fit. Even at that, however you still can't print on a duplex printer automatically, to print to both sides of the print sheet, you'd have to phyically print one side, turn the sheet over and then print the other side. Illustrator won't do duplex, as it won't do multipage.
