illustrator 10 - can't save image off page

Make the drawing page size larger?
It means that you have elements very far off the page size.
File/Document Setup
Change it to a large size and see if you can save the illustration. Then you'll know.

gave that a try - still no. i had this problem before, dont know what i did to get around. i have save lots bigger size before. so now i m disecting the image up & saving each & some images at a time.

As far as I can see, this is a case of a transformation which leaves artwork outside the work area (227"x227").

If that is so, no wonder Illy protests: the obvious solution would be CtrlZ and finding a way to keep everything on board.

In my version of 10, the full message is: Can't move the objects. The requested transformation would make some objects fall completely off the drawing area.
