Illustrator 10 PDF conversion adds white edge to optimized bitmap images
I am taking high-res IA files then converting them to screen-optimized PDFs for emailing. In the PDF conversion process all the images are resampled and growing, gaining a new white edge on part of the final optimized PDF output. This even occurs when I don't compress the images on the "compression" menu for screen optimization. Image is getting crunched but why the added white edge on a continous tone photo? Anyone have any advise?? Gracias!
