Illustrator 10 shuting down when moving objects from one layer to another!
Hi, Can anyone help me???
Illustrator 10 is shutting down when I am trying to move an object from one layer to another. When I am trying to move the object I select the object that I want to move and then click on the little coloured box on the layer that the object is on and then drag it to the new layer that I want it to be positioned on. That's when it closes down.
I do the same thing on my other work computers in Illustrator and they all work fine. They all have version 10 on them and with the exception of one work station are all running on windows 2000 professional. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall but it just seems to reoccur.
Does any one have any suggestions? Any comments would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Trish

Trish,
First try deleting your preference file - Details in the FAQ at the top of
this forum's Topic List.
If you still see problems, as a diagnostic, turn down your hardware
acceleration to zero. If that helps you need to update your video driver.
