Illustrator 9 Help in barcode font...?

System is running Win XP SP1 with all current updates/patches, and Illustrator is running 9.0.2.

When you go into the help files, it brings up the files, but then the text under any of the sections is in what looks like a barcode format (not sure, may actually be very very small text), but basically cannot read anything. I have tried to check the installed fonts on the system, reset the web settings for IE, and so far, nothing has worked.

Has anyone else run accross this??

What do you see if you open the help.html file directly in your browser?

That comes up just fine. After that, the text comes up in the "barcodeish" font. I do not have another XP machine to look at that also has Illustrator 9 installed to compare what fonts come as a base install. If need be, I can post up what fonts are installed if that helps any.

I don't have a copy of Il 9 installed on any machines anymore, so posting a
font list wouldn't be of any help.

A couple of questions, though:

1) what browser are you using?
2) what language version of Windows?
3) what language version of Illustrator?

Actually, what it came out to be is that the system had a bunch of extra fonts enabled thru Adobe Type Manager and that was causing the issue. By disabling or deactivating all the fonts other than the base 14 made it all back to normal. Thanks for all your help!
