Illustrator 9 Won't Start After Change to Preferences

Hi,
I hope you found a solution to your problem ... 'cause I've got a similar one ... I just can't see the pantone palette, juste like you I see a kind of flash when I ask it to get opened, then nothing appears and I need it quite in an hurry ...
If you have a solution : please help me !

What version of Illustrator are you using? Did you do a Custom install, and if so, were you sure to check ALL options for installing during the process. Version 8 was particularly easy to miss installing everything.

I use the version 9. I've just thrown away again the preferences and now it works, just don't know why it didn't work after this step when I did it once ... Thank you anyway to have tried to help me ...
Do you work on a mac or PC platform ? I will have to change my mac for a PC soon and if you've had an idea of what mustn't be done concerning printing Illustrator files, I'll be glad to read them.

Sorry, when I asked what version, I should have asked full version are you running(upgrade to Illustrator 9.0.2). If you haven't updated, I'd recommend you do so at: <http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=1100>

Glad it's now working for you, though. Still update if you haven't already done so.
