Illustrator and MacOsX Panther
Hi
I am currently upgrading my mac from macos 9.1 to macos x panther.
At the moment I am using Illustrator 10.0.3 and am wondering if this version will run on macos x panther or if I will need to upgrade to a higher version of Illustrator
Thanks for the help

Re: Illustrator and MacOsX Panther
AI10 and AICS will both run in Mac OS10.3.x.
AI10 will also run in Mac OS9. AICS will only run in Mac OS10.2.4 or newer.
So, yes AI10 will run in OSX without using the classic emulation.

Re: Illustrator and MacOsX Panther
I have installed Panther on top of Mac9.2 which has had Illustrator 9 previously installed on it. To open Illustrator you must click on Hard Disk and go OS9.2 applications and wait for Classic to open It works but there is no flow into Photoshop.
I would like to buy Illustrator CS but officially it is not compatible with 10.3 Is anybody using it with Panther?

Re: Illustrator and MacOsX Panther
Illustrator CS works great with Panther. It's just that Panther came out about the same time as the Creative Suite. Go for it!
