Illustrator & Photoshop Trouble

    Default Illustrator & Photoshop Trouble

    When i try to save a Large Photoshop or Illustator file, and reopen the file i get a corupt file

    I can bypass the proublem in Illustrator by saving as 8.0 but there is no way around the trouble in Photoshop but moving to a slower mac running on OS9

    I have a G5 2Ghz
    with 2 Gb ram
    running Os X 10.3

    How large of a file are we talking about?

    Have you tried trashing your prefs? Nice solution to many problems...

    If you're having corruption problems for both Illustrator and Photoshop files, it might point to some hard disk problems. I'd run a good disk utility on your system.

    It was a Dimm module that was corupt

    I just dont get it why the problem did not happen in a Illustrator 8
