Illustrator basics, how do i draw a line with an outline?
I know its a basic question but i new with Illustrator but i know Photoshop. How do i go about drawing a single straight thick line one color then outlining it in another color?
while im asking, does anyone know of any decent and easy walkthrough sites on Illustrator?

2 ways to do this. 1st, outline the stroke. 2nd, draw a very thin box with the stroke of the color you want. See help if questions on how to do both.

Select your line, go to Object then click Flatten Transparency. You should have now converted your line into a shape and you can then change the outline colour from there :)
