Illustrator CS always quits just before opening... All my other applications in the Creative Suite work perfectly... I have OSX 10.3

I'don't know what to do... Thanks...

First try trashing the preferences.

Do you have anything like Norton's apps or Spell Catcher etc. Font Reserve any haxies installed have you tried swapping out your RAM did you run Apples Hardware utility to see if you have hardware problems?

And try removing the Adobe Online pluggin.

I'm having exactly the same problem. Where are the preferences for Illustrator CS in OS X? There doesn't seem to be an online plugin either.

Have now managed to get Illustrator running. I was able to find the preferences and I also found any references to Illustrator CS in any location, threw the application away, re-booted and reloaded. Now it is working again, for how long....?

You might want to repair the permissions at this point just to make things proper after installing software on OS X repairing the permissions is a very good idea.

Perhaps if you have this problem again you might first look at your fonts as a possible source.

Wade, I don't know about you, but I'm getting confused on who's post is where.

Man, we're getting some really wicked storms here in the past couple days. Just on my way home, it started hailing. About the size of nickels. Thought my windshield was going to crack.
