Illustrator CS & applescript

hello

I have a document with about 70 objects (page items) which I want to export each in a separate file (.psd).

I think about copy the page item (object) to clipboard, make a new document, paste clipboard, export to .psd and finally close the new document. that I can do step by step with for every page item.

my problem is how I can select a page item via applescript. is it possible at all? any support would be appreciated.
