Illustrator CS and Network Equals no Saves
Has anyone else experienced this problem:
An Illustrator 10 file exists on a network server. When opened, CS asks you if you want to update it, and I select yes. If I make any changes, or even when leaving the document the same, the file will not save back to the network location. I have tried both save and save as. I can however save it to my desktop, and if I drag it from there to the original files location on the network, I can open-save-change-etc. as before using the new converted file. Running Illustrator CS and Mac OS 10.3.

Re: Illustrator CS and Network Equals no Saves
Have you tried doing a search in this forum? I believe there's been a lot of discussion on issues relating to disappearing files and saving over networks, etc.
