Illustrator CS and opentype features
I noticed that Illustrator and InDesign CS do not recognise opentype features, such as oldstyle figures to lining figures, ect., unless they are installed into <volume> <library> <application support> <fonts>. I wonder if anybody else had the same experience and if there is a way around.
thank you

Re: Illustrator CS and opentype features
Not true.
You can place OpenType in any of the five or six locations possible in Mac OS X, and the OpenType features work. Or you can put them in /Library/Application Support/Adobe/fonts. Or you can put them in the Fonts folder in the Illustrator CS folder. Or you can use a font manager to open the up.
