Illustrator CS and Text, request change

I'm testing the CS of Illustrator, InDesign and PhotoShop for our company and the only problem w/Illustrator is the fact that it breaks up all my text when I "Export to Legacy". Why couldn't the Text stay all together? Is is that the "Envelope Distort" is inherent w/in the text now? Can I suggest removing this or do too many people like this new Change? We need our text to stay in text boxes not to be bro k en u p.

It's a completely new type engine. When you export to legacy you are reverting back to the old text engine and the transition is not perfect. Read more about the new text engine.

a lot of people have griped about this. this is not a feature. but the new text engine supposedly kickes ass so that's the compromise.
