Illustrator CS crashes on launch...
I just installed the whole CS package last week and everything seems fine so far except Illustrator. When I go to launch the app the start screen appears and when it gets to "updating font menu 70%" the startup screen disappears and I get the "unexpectedly crashed" message. Any ideas? I've deleted and reinstalled a few times now and the problem is still there. It's never launched sinced I've installed it. Just to let you know, I've got a slotloading G3 500 iMac with 384 ram and OS 10.3.3.

Re: Illustrator CS crashes on launch...
You might try to delete your illustrator preferences in the system en user folders and then try launching illustrator again. Then it will create fresh pref-files.
If this doesn't work, maybe the culprit is your font-managing program, or even a single font that screws up illustrator. Try starting illustrator without a font manager running, or disable all fonts in the font manager.
