Illustrator CS Install Error -5006

I can not install Illustrator CS. An error occurs when I start Setup.exe.

Error:

An error (-5006 0x80070035) has occurred while running setup.

Please make sure you have finished any previous setup and close other applications. If error still occurs, please contact vender: Adobe.

550 Zeon
1g ram

Try clearing out your windows tmp or temp folder(s) usually located in
c:\Documents and Settings\~username\Local Settings\

I found out it was a wininstall problem. The error appears when you do not have a valid "My Documents" folder. I fixed the invalid "My Documents" it works like a champ!

How in the heck did you ever figure that one out, Christian??? I'm impressed.

Solving install problems is the only time that Adobe gives you free tech support with AICS. Beyond that y'a gotta pay $$$ to get help with this buggy stuff. But somehow I wonder if Adobe tech support would have figured that one out.
