Default Illustrator CS Tryout won't install on Windows ME?

The subject line says it all.

I've downloaded the 30-day CS Tryout to practice for some college tests.

But the setup installer says: "Illustrator CS requires Windows 2000 with Service Pack 2 or higher, Windows XP, or newer." So it won't install.

My OS is Windows ME. I've seen references to using Illustrator with ME elsewhere in the forum mails.

Is this just a limitation of the CS Tryout?
Can I work round it and install?

    Thanks for any advice.

    install?<<

No, and No. Previous versions would run under Win9x but all the CS versions
of Adobe applications require Win2k/SP2 (or higher) /WinXP.
