Default Illustrator properties vs FreeHand properties

I have to say that after playing around with Illustrator CS, FreeHand
wins hands down as far as simplicity goes. I can't believe how many
flipping panels Illustrator has now... To change just some properties of
certain objects, you have to follow 3-4 different panels. Ugh!

Properties in FreeHand have never been so easy. I'm all about one stop
    shopping...

    I agree.

I just started doing alot of my work with Illustrator again about a month
ago and although I really like some parts of it, it is a much more cluttered
desktop and contrived workflow. BUT it is does certain things I need very
consistently without crashing or nasty surpises and I cant say that about
    FHMX.
