ILLUSTRATOR QUITS ON START UP

I HAVE DELETED THE WEB FOLDER IN THE LIBRARY - ADOBE - WEB
AS ADOBE TECH SUPPORT SUGGESTED

HOWEVER, I STILL FIND ILLUSTRATOR SEARCHING FOR UPDATES ON LOADING THE PROGAM
AND IT THEN QUITS THE PROGRAM.

ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS?

I HAVE TAKEN OFF ILLUSTRATOR AND RELOADED AND DELETED THE WEB FILE AS BEFORE BUT I'M STILL HAVEING THE SAME PROBLEM.

In the Adobe Illustrator Folder in the plug ins folder you will find the Adobe Online
plug in remove it but you have to also trash your preference. No?!

An you Cap Lock is activated it is considered rude to use all caps even if you are frustrated.
