Default Illustrator Text Wrap & Minimizing Window

(Using CS on Panther). Text wrap isn't working and I've been to the "official" help area of Adobe. Also, the double clicking on the area formerly known as the window shade won't let me minimize the window, but it does in all other CS programs. What's up with either/both of these? Thanks!

The second is a Panther thing. Double clicking works under 10.2.8.

How are you setting up your text wrap?

As to the text wrap try this after making the text wrap for the object send it to the back of the text then bring it to the front, I think now the text will wrap. Well that was only a problem at a certain magnification however perhaps your preferences are hosed.

I tried the sending the objects to the back and front; still no luck. In this case, I had the text on the page, placed a tif file into Illustrator and then follow the normal text wrapping procedures through object. Still no luck.

That stinks about the double clicking!

The yellow button still works. And with only half the number of clicks!

Text must be in a container, object or image on top of it in the same layer. Select both the text and the image and apply the wrap. It should work.

I don't believe you have to select both the text and the object to make a text wrap as long as you place the object above a text container you're fine.

If select both the text container and the object both containers will have the text wrap
and any text behind either will wrap.
