I need a hit counter for Dreamweaver version 4. Where do I go to GET a hit counter. Is there a free one from Macromedia that I can download for version 4? I just want code that I can put into my page that will make a simple counter. Where do I go to get the code and the acual counter?

However, why?
If *you* want to see stats, you host usually have them available for you.

To be even clearer, 'hit counters' are pretty much useless. They don't
accurately record any data of any real use. If you are looking for site
traffic data, then you definitely want to get access to the server logs
directly.
