    Default Image Fade

    Photoshop 7

I would like to construct a graphic of a bird's nest, containing eggs, resting on a sun-baked lake bed. The outer edges of the nest, from the eggs outward, fade from 0 to 100% transparency. You should be able to see the underlying lake bed through breaks in the nest's straw as the outer edges are approached. All solutions to my dilemma are welcome.

    Thank you

Corel Knockout is better, but you can use the PS extract filter. Comes with PS7, guess it's free depending on how you look at it.

How cheap is Corel stuff now that they're in bankruptcy?
