Image Fade Effect

Hi i would like to know how to do the fade effect that the this page have [url]http://vw.com/gti/20th/[/url] , when you switch of frame you see the car fadind to another picture. if someone know how to do it please help me out with that.

Looks very sophisticated but is just a simple animated mask by the looks of
things. If you can create a movieClip that looks like those dots moving off
the screen, then you can use it as mask over an image such as the car.

Look up creating mask layers in the help files....

They are using a lot of very complex actionscript for that effect. You can
view the actionscript with a flash decompiler. The pictures themselves are
not breaking up and moving.. it's tiny circles and hex objects that move and
scale and fade. Very cool effect.
